Zo, Ingram and Kuzma must continue to grow

Lonzo Ball has had his moments this year when he played like a Big Baller but also at times he struggled and people had called him a bust. The bad, he’s only averaging 10.2 points on 35.9 percent shooting, 30.5 percent on his 3-pointers. From the foul line, he is an abysmal 44.9 percent. The good is that he averages seven rebounds and 7.3 assists per game and is making the right plays for his teammates.

Brandon Ingram has had a superb season in contrast to his rookie year. The second-year small forward is scoring 16.2 points, pulling down 5.4 rebounds and handing out 3.9 assists per game. He may not reach Magic Johnson‘s goal for him to average 20 points a game this season but there’s no question that he has a high ceiling to improve his game.

Kyle Kuzma has been one of the biggest steals in recent draft history. The 27th overall pick out of Utah is showing teams that they made a mistake passing up on him. He’s averaging 15.9 points on 45 percent field goal shooting, 37 percent on 3-pointers and 6.3 rebounds a game. With hard work and dedication in the summer, he could turn out to be a star in this league.

If the Lakers do these things in the offseason, they will make the playoffs next year and then compete for an NBA championship soon after. I guarantee it.
