As the season comes to a close for the Los Angeles Lakers, here are four things to watch for the remaining games.
It has been a season of ups and downs for the Los Angeles Lakers this season. While the Lakers are certainly improving with their young core, that young core has also struggled at times this season as expected.
Overall, the Lakers were a better team than last season, and that was certainly one of the goals. While the Lakers didn’t make the playoffs this season, they certainly got better and there is a lot of hope for the future.
One of the biggest takeaways for the Lakers this season was that they have a fantastic young core for the next few seasons under contract. Brandon Ingram was able to take a big step forward in his second season and showed a lot of growth as a scorer.
In the NBA Draft, the Lakers couldn’t have done much better than drafting Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, and Josh Hart. All three have started for the Lakers this season and all three will be important parts of the team moving forward. As rookies, it has been very impressive to see what they have been able to do.
With the season almost at its end for the Lakers, there are still games to be played and things to watch for the Lakers. With some injuries of late slowing them down, the Lakers are hopefully going to be a bit healthier in the final few games of the season. As the season comes to a close, here are a few things to watch for the remaining games.
