By Nick Ziegler
The NCAA Final Four will be starting on Saturday night in San Antonio, Texas. Here are five NBA prospects the Los Angeles Lakers should keep an eye on.
The college basketball season is coming to an end, as we will have a National Champion by Monday night. For the Los Angeles Lakers, they will surely be watching to see how some of the potential draft prospects perform on a big stage.
This season, there aren’t a ton of top-tier NBA talent in the Final Four, as there will be a lot of upper-classman playing for all four teams. However, as we have seen with the Lakers in the last draft, getting players that have played more than one season in college can be beneficial.
While Lonzo Ball was a freshman sensation, the Lakers also drafted Kyle Kuzma and Josh Hart later on in the first round. As we have seen this season, players that have played more than one year in college can still help a team in the NBA.
As of now, the Lakers have one pick in the first round from the Cleveland Cavaliers, as they were able to acquire it in the deal that sent Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. In addition to the first round pick, the Lakers also have the second-round pick of the Denver Nuggets.
While a lot can change between now and the NBA Draft, the Lakers will be looking to add to their young core. Here are five players to watch in the Final Four that could be in the NBA next season.
