– Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk

One of the appealing prospects to keep an eye on in the Final Four is Kansas senior Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk. As a 6’8” guard/forward Mykhailiuk projects to be an interesting prospect at the next level.

This season, Mykhailiuk has averaged 14.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game. There is no denying what Mykhailiuk’s best skill is, and that is his shooting ability. So far this season, Mykhailiuk has shot 44.7 percent from three-point range. Considering he is taking nearly seven attempts per game, this is a really solid percentage.

For the Lakers this season, shooting from beyond the arc has been a struggle. As of now, Mykhailiuk figures to be a second-round prospect. While he might never be a star in the NBA, he should be able to be a very good shooter in the NBA.

One of the things the Lakers will be trying to improve upon this offseason is their shooting. With Lonzo Ball running the point, he would really excel with some shooters surrounding him. Even though he is a bit undersized for playing power forward in college, he would be a wing player in the NBA. Mykhailiuk hasn’t had a great tournament for Kansas, but he did a great job battling against the bigs of Duke to help Kansas advance.
