Why would LeBron want to leave?

In his 15th season, James probably does not want to carry such a big workload moving forward. He is leading the playoffs in scoring with 34.8 points per game, and his next best teammate is Kevin Love with 11.8 points per game.

His usage rate has been staggering. He even leads the playoffs in minutes per game at 42.6. For the first time in his career he also played all 82 games, and at his age, this pace will be difficult to sustain because the miles are adding up on his legs.

The playoffs have shown that the Cavs roster simply does not have the same firepower since trading Kyrie Irving last offseason. James might consider going to a team with more talent and youth than the Cavs currently have.

The Lakers have a solid young core in place, and if they land another All-Star like George that could be all the help LeBron needs.
