The Los Angeles Lakers recently announced their preseason schedule for the 2018-19 season. Here is who they will be facing.

In the 2018-19 season, the Los Angeles Lakers will be hoping to be a much-improved team from last season. After taking a step forward in the 2017-18 season with their young core, the Lakers will certainly be trying to make the playoffs next season.

This offseason will be a big one for the Lakers, as they have the potential to land two max players. With the young core of the Lakers getting better and better, they could be taking a huge step forward if they are able to land a star or two this offseason.

While free agency and the draft will draw most of the attention in the coming months, the Lakers recently announced their 2018-19 preseason schedule. Here is a list of who they will be playing.

The Lakers will be starting out their preseason against the Denver Nuggets, as they will be playing two games against them in San Diego and the Staples Center. After the two games against the Nuggets, the Lakers will then be playing the Sacramento Kings. Any matchup against the Kings, of course, means there will be a possibility of seeing Lonzo Ball and De’Aaron Fox squaring off.

Following the game against the Kings, the Lakers will then be facing the Los Angeles Clippers in Anaheim for their only matchup in the preseason. To wrap up the preseason, the Lakers will be playing the Golden State Warriors in their final two games.

In the preseason, the Lakers will be jumping around a bit, as we will only see them play twice in the Staples Center. With the possibility of the Lakers getting players like LeBron James and Paul George, the preseason could be the first time we see them suit up for the Lakers. Even though it is only a few games, the preseason could be very important for the Lakers if they have a lot of new faces.
