Lakers Rumors: LeBron James has “no idea” on his free agency
The All-Star is at a roadblock with his impending offseason, with the power to make an ultimate decision that will change the NBA landscape in a heartbeat.
Los Angeles Lakers rumors are going to be picking up with the 2017-18 season now officially over. The Golden State Warriors swept the Cleveland Cavaliers in four games for their second consecutive title, and third in four years.
With the finals over, one of the biggest storylines is what will LeBron James do in free agency?
The Cavaliers superstar, who is a candidate for joining the Los Angeles Lakers, joked around for being everything from head coach to majority owner, states he is unsure of where he will play next year.
A reporter asked LeBron James if this was the last game he played in a Cavaliers uniform. James responded:
"“I have no idea at this point [if this is my last game in a Cavaliers uniform]. You know the one thing that I’ve always done is consider my family, understanding that, especially where my boys are at this point in their age, they were a lot younger the last time I made a decision four years ago. I got a teenage boy, a preteen, a little girl right now that wasn’t around as well. Sitting down and considering everything, my family is a huge part of whatever I decide to do in my career, and it will continue to be like that.”"

James recently lost in the footsteps of a transcendental Golden State Warriors dynasty. LeBron James had his moments in the series.
He scored 51 points, joining one of only six players to do so in the NBA Finals. He broke fifth on the all-time playoff rebounds category. James also played his 239th playoff game, passing Laker great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in the process. He made an eighth consecutive NBA Finals, an achievement many of NBA fans took granted for.
At this moment, LeBron James is highly unlikely to return to Cleveland. Unless he believes that he believes it’s best for his children to stay (and that eighth pick turned into a star), there is no reason to stay.

In my mind, with the quote he gave to the media, he could either go to Los Angeles or Philadephia. No doubt, this should be one of the most entertaining offseasons in NBA history.
