2. Rivalry renewed….again

Although the two matchups against the Boston Celtics come in third on this list, these are what I am most excited for. It’s the Boston Celtics vs the Los Angeles Lakers! Kyrie Irving vs Lebron James (but this time people will care). Brad Stevens vs Luke Walton!

Okay, that last one isn’t necessarily a rivalry but could make for an interesting pick-up game. Or a movie sequel: No, Seriously, White Men Can’t Jump.

These two games are non-negotiable must-sees. This is the most historic rivalry in the NBA, maybe even sports depending on who you ask. Both teams have the rare roster where they are set to win now and win later.

Jayson Tatum is a known Kobetheist (my name for players who try to mold their game after the Mamba) who will be playing harder against the team who passed on him. And not to mention, it’s LeBron against the Celtics so you can bet the house there will be a show.

Games are Feb 7th in Boston and March 9th in LA. If you miss these games, you might as well just go and join the rest of America and start rooting for the Warriors.
