Los Angeles Lakers: Positives and negatives of the offseason

With the majority of the Lakers offseason all but wrapped up, here are some positives and negatives of the Lakers offseason so far.

The Los Angeles Lakers managed to snag the biggest free agent prize in NBA history in Lebron James. This franchise has undergone a complete turnaround from 5 seasons ago.

We are entering into a new era of Lakers basketball and as a man who bleeds purple and gold I couldn’t be more excited for the season to start.

So with training camp set to start in less than a month, let’s look at all of the positives and negatives of the Lakers offseason so far.

Let’s start with the negatives.

1. Lakers fans vandalizing murals

I could not be more excited that LeBron James is Laker. His presence on the team makes the Lakers an automatic playoff team and that should be a welcome sight to all Lakers fans. So I don’t understand why some fans are upset with Lebron being a part of this team.

Lakers fans destroying murals featuring Lebron James is not a good look for Laker Nation. I myself am a die-hard Kobe Bryant fan, so much so that I believe that he is the greatest player of all-time.

But above being a fan of Kobe, I am also a fan of the Lakers winning. As Kobe said in his recent interview with Rich Eisen If you are a fan of Kobe you are a fan of winning.

This was definitely not a good look for Lakers fans.
