2. JaVale McGee Signing

This one is completely subjective as some fans are on board with this signing. As for me, personally, I am not a fan.

The Lakers have had a very bad lineup of centers over the past five seasons rotating through guys like Chris Kaman, Robert Sacre, Roy Hibbert and Timofey Mozgov just to name a few.

Brook Lopez was probably the best Lakers center since Dwight Howard, but unfortunately, he is no longer apart of the Lakers organization.

I realize that McGee can do more than just create blooper reels for Shaqtin’ A Fool, but I personally feel that there were better center options out there and that the Lakers should have put forth more of a concerted effort to find a better big man.

I’m personally a fan of Moritz Wagner getting a lot of minutes at the center position as I feel he has better footwork, he can stretch the floor which neither McGee nor Zubac can do, and just has more overall potential.

His defense could use a little work and he might not have the experience, but personally, I prefer talent over experience.
