Here are four questions the Los Angeles Lakers could be asked during their media day.
Before we know it, we will be watching the Los Angeles Lakers back on the court. We are past the halfway mark of September and just like that, we are less than a month away from the beginning of the NBA season.
The season will officially kick off on October 16th when the Boston Celtics play the Philadelphia 76ers and the Oklahoma City Thunder play the Golden State Warriors. As for the Los Angeles Lakers, they’ll start on October 18th on the road against the Portland Trail Blazers.
There are some important dates leading up to that opening night game, including the preseason schedule for the Lakers which starts on September 30th.
In addition to the preseason, the new Lakers roster will get their first opportunity to all be with each other in front of the media on the Lakers’ official Media Day, which will be on September 24th.
The media will get their first opportunity to have all members of the Lakers roster available for questions then, but Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka will be giving the media an appetizer on September 20th. They’ll address the media together then, which will be Magic Johnson’s first availability to the media since the monumental LeBron James signing that he was so pivotal in.
There will be many questions asked between those two events that have been floated around in Lakers blogs and podcasts ever since LeBron signed. We will finally get answers to those questions from the people that matter most.
Here I’ll talk about some questions that I think will be the main focal points for the media members as they try and put out some content to the Lakers’ faithful.
