Los Angeles Lakers 2018 Media Day: Top 15 best quotes and everything else

Brandon Ingram is getting a bit older now, season three is about to begin for him as a Laker.

Brandon Ingram’s twists have gotten a couple inches longer and his physique has gotten bigger.

On this year’s goal:

BI: The main thing this year I want to play more games this year than I did last year, really to take care of my body I did a lot of stretching.

On LeBron learning from him off the court:

BI: He’s actually set a blueprint for a lot of people to watch with his crew and what he has going on. What you can learn from him is how to move.

On Brandon and his young teammate’s development:

BI: Kuz and Lonzo I’ve seen those guys coming in every single day — Lonzo has worked on his jump shot every single day – for myself — I have confidence when I step inside the weight room it gives me confidence – I’ve seen myself get confident every day.

On workouts:

BI: That’s how I take my workouts: Detailed and focused on every little thing.

BI: Everything was a focus – it was important to work on different things – that goes back to watching film on different guys – focus on spots with different guys.

On camaraderie:

BI: Just being around each other every day – working extremely hard — when the new guys came in here we accepted them like anyone else.

BI: I don’t like video games – every time Y’all ask me I tell Y’all the same thing, I really don’t do much, I play basketball, that’s how we’re going to do it.

On finding out about LeBron coming to Los Angeles:

BI: When we found out we were happy about it. I think you can feel the energy every time that you step into this gym. LeBron was here at 6 o’clock every morning just coming in here working out and you could see the coaches up there smiling, everybody in here just ready to work.
