Lonzo ball sat with Worthy and crew next.

“You look like the Hulk all of the sudden” James Worthy to Lonzo Ball on his new size.

Ball was asked about his knee, and the status of his injury, since they were told he wasn’t ready:

LB: I just got cleared to do everything, so that’s a big jump for me.

Worthy said sometimes it seems like Lonzo has been in the league for ten years, he asked Ball what he has been working on, that he was impressed by his defense last season.

LB: Offensively getting to the rim more, shooting free-throws, that’s been the main key, looking at film this summer.

So what’s different about his shot?

LB: I think honestly I just got it stronger, you know, I don’t need to sling the ball up there like that no more, it’s still on the left side, you know obviously but it’s a bit more centered, I worked on my follow through better, my legs are stronger, so I have more balance, people say it’s a dramatic change, but I don’t really see it.

How about his rookie season?

LB: Honestly if I would have made more shots I think everything would have been just fine – I wish I was out there to play the whole 82 but I couldn’t, but this year that’s what I’m striving to do.

On Rondo being a great mentor since he hasn’t spent much time with LeBron:

LB: Whatever I need he’s here for me, we actually had a film session that was kind of crazy, it was probably the craziest film sessions I ever had. He’s probably one of the smartest dudes I have ever talked too when it comes to basketball things,  just because he broke out everything. Literally, everything I could have did, everything I should have did and it was just amazing being there with him.

LB: Me and Rondo play very similar
