The Los Angeles Lakers play their second preseason game tonight, facing off again with the Denver Nuggets.

Well, the Los Angeles Lakers are back at it again, lacing up the high-top sneakers to play the Denver Nuggets tonight at 10:30 pm EST on TNT. With the exception of the game being broadcast on another network, everything seems the same, doesn’t it?

LeBron James is on the marquee and Lonzo Ball will not be playing again tonight as the Lakers (smartly…) bring him back slowly to get him ready for the regular season.

On Sunday, despite flashes from LeBron James that made the paying crowd happy,  the game was pretty much a beat down with the Nuggets winning 124-107.

One game is much too early to gauge the potential of where the Los Angeles Lakers are going, but due to the fact that it is our job at FanSided’s to break down potential areas of the team to analyze, these things need to be pointed out because contrary to the positives that were stated by Luke Walton after the game…

There was much to be desired in the game as well. The Los Angeles Lakers are in a state of transition and on Sunday it looked like it. But game one is over and it is on to game 2. Let’s go over some things to look for, shall we?
