The Los Angeles Lakers were able to defeat the Golden State Warriors in Las Vegas, here are a few takeaways from the game.

The Los Angeles Lakers gave the Las Vegas fans a lot to remember! The Lakers beat the World Champion Golden State Warriors 123-113  in probably the most hyped preseason game in history.

The stars came out and played very well for both teams. The Splash Brothers, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry both scored more than 20 points while Kevin Durant finished with 18 points before he fouled out in third quarter. That was not a typo…HE REALLY DID FOUL OUT IN THE THIRD QUARTER!

LeBron James showed why Magic Johnson signed him almost seconds into free agency…

More on him later…

This was the first time the Los Angeles Lakers could  bring out their star duo in LeBron James and Lonzo Ball. Ball looked rusty but he had his moments. Let’s be honest here…

All the Los Angeles Lakers fans, tell the truth…were you just as tired as I was of seeing practice pictures like this…

…and really just wanted to see some of this…

Who says Jimmy Butler owns the headlines…

Lake Show Life throughout the preseason has put together a checklist for fans to follow along with the Los Angeles Lakers progress seeing how these pieces will fit. Then check the aftermath to see how things went…

Let’s look back at the game and what the Lakers accomplished shall we?

How long will LeBron James play?

"Up until this point, the Los Angeles Lakers have put together a routine for LeBron James and his minutes throughout the preseason. The magic number has been around 15 minutes for all the games he has played (He sat out the Clippers game for rest.) I’ve been saying that if LeBron James plays more than 20 minutes, somebody needs to be fired. Tonight Lakers fans AGAIN, things might be different."

Aftermath…

Well it was different this time around. LeBron James played 18 minutes scoring 15 points, grabbing ten rebounds and dishing out five assists. Even more appealing was that he had only one turnover! This guy is turning into a basketball machine folks…

I mean just press play…

This is turning into unadulterated FILTH! He’s in cruise control ladies and gentlemen. Let’s put this in perspective. Kevin Durant did foul out but he played well, but it seemed like James was in a league by himself. The caption is not lying…LeBron James REALLY DID bring Showtime to Las Vegas! Maybe Sports Illustrated has a point…
