The Los Angeles Lakers were able to get their first win of the season. Here are four takeaways from the win against the Phoenix Suns.

Hold Up! The Los Angeles Lakers positionless basketball scheme works everyone! That is on bad teams that play worse defense than the Lakers. Boy was this a beat down!  The Los Angeles Lakers ran the Phoenix Suns off the floor winning 131-113. I said it the last postgame recap and I’ll say it again… This is the Los Angeles Lakers that the front office had in mind! Showtime is BACK…for nights that the Lakers play teams that stink. But that’s not the Lakers fault, a win is a win! Especially if you have none.

After the Lakers lost a heart breaker to the San Antonio Spurs 143-142 in a back-and-forth game that saw LeBron James go from being the G.O.A.T. knocking down a 28-footer to send the game into overtime to just being the goat missing two crucial free throws and a jumper in overtime to win.

No one is going to believe me but Lance Stephenson led the Lakers with 23 points, grabbed eight rebounds, dished out eight assists and had two steals in 25 minutes! LANCE STEPHENSON!

LeBron James played a good floor game (more on him later). But this game was about the identity of the Los Angeles Lakers. The last post game was about the effort and playing hard on both ends of the floor…

This game will change the Lakers for the rest of the season, not only on the floor but in the locker room. This one is going to be good…let’s get to it… Here are four takeaways from the win.
