The Los Angeles Lakers earned their first win of the season as they demolished the Phoenix Suns, 131-113.

The Los Angeles Lakers looked hungry for their first win from the get-go. After being only up two points after the first quarter, the team feasted for a 44-point second quarter performance. Aside from the blistering second quarter, the Lakers looked great as they finished the night with seven double-digit scorers.

For the Phoenix Suns, times could not be much worse right now. After starting off their season with a win the team has now lost three straight. To add insult to injury, Suns’ star guard Devin Booker limped his way off the court in the third quarter and did not return for the rest of the game. We hope that Booker makes a speedy recovery. Luckily, however, the Suns’ other star – Deandre Ayton – played great and finished with a 22-point, 11-rebound double-double.

Now, let’s take a look at some player grades.
