The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Denver Nuggets, 121,-114, to earn their first home victory of the season.

The Los Angeles Lakers were able to put a cooling on the Denver Nuggets, who came into STAPLES Center red-hot. The team was one of the five remaining undefeated teams and held the number one seed in the Western Conference.

Now I know it is too early to look at standings, but the Nuggets also had a convincing win against the Golden State Warriors – they held them to less than 100 points. Moreover, Nikola Jokic was superb heading into the matchup as he had already recorded a perfect triple-double and was averaging 23.3 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game. Unfortunately, things did not go as the Nuggets had planned in LA.

With Lakers’ legend Kobe Bryant sitting courtside, the Los Angeles Lakers turned on their Mamba Mentality and put on a show. Aside from the offense being explosive yet again, the team’s defensive chemistry finally seemed to be picking up.

Moreover, the Lakers were poised to play great on all facets as they even shot a remarkable 82.6 percent from the line. Overall, the Lakers easily put on their best performance of the season so far.

Before I get into say anything else, let’s dig right into player grades.
