Los Angeles Lakers: Lake Show Life’s Halloween Fashion Show!
By Ronald Agers
The Los Angeles Lakers were in the Halloween spirit on Wednesday as multiple players dressed up for the occasion.
The Los Angeles Lakers barely escaped out of the Staples Center with a win Halloween night, outlasting the Dallas Mavericks 114-113 Wednesday night.
It was Halloween, so we did find something scarier than the costumes that night. It’s LeBron James at the free throw line in crunch time.
Well, nobody can’t say that the Los Angeles Lakers don’t keep things interesting. Sometimes these articles can write themselves with the constant drama that surrounds the team.
The Dallas Mavericks game was interesting but the costumes were something to behold as well. Let’s step back from the constant debates of the Lakers on the floor and have a little fun.
Welcome to the first annual Lake Show Life Halloween Fashion show. A time we can all take a look back at the fun we had and see some of the great costumes that were floating around the Lakers organization…
First up we have from the Los Angeles Lakers costume fiesta…The Squad Ghouls!
The Squad Ghouls are really looking ghastly here, aren’t they? On the left is Svi Mykhailiuk, sporting a clown outfit, with Lonzo Ball with a combination of a Batman costume and a clown wig. Closing out the picture on the right is Ivica Zubac, who looks like a cross between the Incredible Hulk and an extra in Michael Jackson‘s Thriller video.
Looking good guys. Personal favorite…Zubac!
Next up…A Los Angeles Lakers wonderful tradition! The Laker Girls along with some kids at the UCLA Medical Center…
The one thing the Los Angeles Lakers do better than any franchise in the NBA is giving back to the community and doing their part to better the world through goodwill. Some lovely Laker Girls went to spread some Halloween cheer with some children at the UCLA Medical Center.
Halloween is an exciting time for children. Imagine if your child was sick and could not go out Trick-or-Treating like other kids? If you have kids, hug them treasure them and be thankful.
Thank you, ladies…just wonderful! Aren’t the kids cute? Just warms the heart.
Next up…Two of the hardest working defenders of the Los Angeles Lakers…Josh Hart and JaVale McGee!
JaVale McGee was the winner of the night to many around the NBA with his Grinch costume. I thought he stole Christmas, Dennis Smith Jr.’s game and Wesley Matthews‘ mind during the game. (Anyone figured out why he fouled LeBron?…Anybody?) But he was so off the hook, he did his postgame interview in it…
Josh Hart tried to be Ronald Agers…I mean the Assistant TO to the Regional Manager for his costume. Looking clean Doc! Almost as good as me!
Next up…The famous LAKER GIRLS! A staple to the Los Angeles Lakers franchise…
The ladies have on various costume ensembles in this picture. No matter the costume, the ladies always look lovely…
Thank you, Ladies!
Finally…the final costume of the evening…
Lastly, we have the King of the Los Angeles Lakers franchise…LeBron James.
He is coming in as Jason Voorhes.
You know he is doing his thing in Hollywood…
…rebooting the House Party franchise and producing TV shows. If Friday the 13th started up again, he just might fit the bill. A 6’8″ guy with an ax. Wouldn’t you be scared?
Well, we here at Lake Show Life hope you enjoyed a look back at the costumes on Halloween night. The Lakers go back to work on Saturday night playing the Portland Trail Blazers. After that, they face their first big challenge taking on Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors on Sunday to finish up the back to back.
The Los Angeles Lakers have started their long journey through the NBA season. Lake Show Life will be there every step of the way. Continue to check in for Lakers news, previews and reviews.
