3. Rajon Rondo has to go! Sorry!

Since Rajon Rondo reportedly confronted Stephen A. Smith over his opinions of the length of the suspension of the fight, I’m going to say this quietly…PSST!

Rajon Rondo has to have his minutes taken away and given to Josh Hart and/or Lonzo Ball. This is what is going to get Luke Walton fired. Derrick Rose absolutely smoked the Lakers to the tune of 31 points…

The 50 point game was nice, but this game was more dynamic. The Lakers are absolutely horrible at 3-point defense. A career-high seven threes by Rose did not help. Throw in a franchise high in threes for the Wolves shows that there are issues with the Lakers defensive schemes.

Now that Tyson Chandler can guard his man down low one on one, it’s easy to see where the leaks are. I have mentioned the lack of defense by the guards. MY GOD! They can’t stop anyone.

Really?

Josh Hart was on the bench while Rose was torching the Lakers late. As for the reason for Rondo being out there…

"“We thought about going back to Lonzo,” Walton said after the victory. “Do we go back to Josh Hart? If we go back to Josh, do we put him in for Rondo? Do we put him in for Tyson? All those thoughts are going through the head as the game is going. But Rondo was doing a really nice job of just being a point guard out there, so we stuck with Rondo."

Let me tell you something…If Rose hits that last 3-point shot or a foul gets called (He was fouled…) and this is a totally different conversation. This is the example of how Walton is in over his head with the rotations at big times. Hart is one of your best defenders. PLAY HIM! Rose was unconscious and Rondo hasn’t played defense all year…what are you doing?

Here Are My Three Lessons…Now Learn From This!

It’s going to be interesting to see how JaVale McGee handles the rotations going forward. McGee played well scoring 16 points on 8-of-10 shooting. However, the game was closed out with Tyson Chandler on the floor. Granted, it was the proper move as opposed to Rondo, but this needs to be watched,

JaVale has done everything the Lakers has asked of him and more. Here are some highlights…

A strong finish here

…and finally!

But the story was about your backup! Luke Walton…beware!
