The Los Angeles Lakers won an ugly game against the Utah Jazz. Check out our three lessons from the game!
The Los Angeles Lakers are still on the Thanksgiving holiday! Lucky for them, so were the Utah Jazz. The Lakers found a new way to win a game on this successful run they are having…UGLY!
The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Utah Jazz 90-83 in a game that was hard to watch. The game was marred with turnovers on both sides, bad shooting and at times you would wonder if either of these two teams actually wanted to win this game.
Then, LeBron James dominated the fourth quarter on both ends and led the Lakers to victory.
This victory marks the seventh win in the last eight games and nine of their last eleven. The Lakers haven’t seen this type of success since the 2011-12 season. Yes Lakers fans, this team is on a roll. With this win, the Lakers are now one game out of the loss column of having a share of the best record in the Western Conference. Shocked? Sure.
Now the Lakers are finding a way to win close games. Games that were within five points or less late, the Lakers weren’t winning. Now, they have figured out, for the most part, how to win these games. Granted, it’s against teams that are struggling mightily, such as the Jazz, but that’s not the Lakers problem. Blame that on the scheduling committee.
Let me get a bit of information to Los Angeles Lakers fans because this is one of the few times of consequence that this statement applies…
The Lakers are now tied with the NBA champions, Golden State Warriors in the loss column with seven. This is big folks!
Lets get to it…here are my three lessons…
