2. This small ball thing just does not work!

I just don’t get Luke Walton at times (more on that later!) but can somebody, ANYBODY tell him that putting LeBron James at the five against big men that love to bang down low does not work!

If he does not believe you, show him this…

LeBron James is guarding Nikola Vucevic on the left block. Vucevic spins and goes baseline, dunking the ball with ease!

On paper, the Lakers have been selling the analytics of putting James at the five to increase the pace and get out on the fast break. Only one problem…

How can Luke Walton win games with this matchup? Remember when the Cleveland Cavaliers were winning in the fourth quarter on Wednesday up by nine? Luke Walton had the same lineup in the game until he decided to put JaVale McGee back in the game to rim protect.

I mean, wasn’t this issue supposed to be put to bed with the acquisition of this guy?….

Speaking of JaVale McGee…

Did anybody miss the block party sponsored by the hand of JaVale McGee?

Jerian Grant was invited and went back for some more fun for JaVale McGee. Vucevic was invited and Evan Fournier was invited as well. McGee had four blocks in the first SIX MINUTES!

Oh, he played a little bit on the offensive end too…

Nikola Vucevic joins the paratrooper club with the up and under by JaVale and the slam dunk!

Vucevic smoked the back line of the Lakers again scoring 31 points, grabbing 15 rebounds and dishing out seven assists. But, it easily could have been 40 points had Walton kept shoving this small ball line up down everyone’s throat.

Oh speaking of Luke Walton…
