4. Josh Hart

Dude’s been great. He ranks in the top-5 on the Lakers in every advanced stat category. He’s hitting 41 percent of his 3-point shots on five attempts per game. He drives down the lane like a runaway race car and he goes 110 percent on every possession. I wish he was starting over Ingram.

3. Lonzo Ball

Why did you rank Lonzo over Hart? Why did you rank him 3rd on the Lakers? Have you seen his stats? He’s averaging eight points per game how can he be good?

These are all valid questions. Lonzo Ball’s game goes beyond traditional stats. He changes the Lakers on offense and on defense.

He pushes the pace on offense and he always makes the extra pass. Lonzo’s play on offense inspires the whole team to play the game the right way.

He creates havoc on defense and when he’s fully engaged he can swing a game by being a defensive menace. Lonzo’s defensive numbers have been climbing all season. He currently ranks 3rd on the Lakers in DBPM and 3rd in DWS.

He hasn’t even played 82 games in his career yet and he’s playing the most difficult position to master in the NBA, but he’s already helping the Lakers win games.
