On Wednesday, the Los Angeles Lakers will be playing the San Antonio Spurs. Here are three players to watch for the game.

The Los Angeles Lakers will be facing the San Antonio Spurs in a home-and-home series starting on Wednesday with the hope of tying up the series. Early on in the season, the Spurs were able to get the best of the Lakers.

In the third game of the season, the Spurs handed the Lakers their third straight loss to start the season, as they defeated the Lakers in overtime. For basketball fans, this was one of the most exciting games of the season to watch for the Lakers.

Just five days later, the Lakers played the Spurs once again, and while it wasn’t as high scoring of an affair, the Spurs came out on top. Since those two games, the Lakers have certainly improved as a team. Coming into Wednesday, the Lakers have won three straight games and are now five games over .500.

To the surprise of many, the Spurs have been struggling a bit so far this season. The loss of Kawhi Leonard and some other injuries have hurt the Spurs this season, but with DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge, this is a dangerous team still.

With this being a home-and-home, the Lakers and the Spurs will both be trying to pull off the sweep. For the Lakers, getting some revenge from the losses at the beginning of the season will certainly be on their minds.

Here are three players to watch in the game on Wednesday night.
