The Los Angeles Lakers will be facing the San Antonio Spurs in the 25th game of the year. Here are three players to watch.
On Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers were able to defeat the San Antonio Spurs for the first time this season. It was a pretty close game throughout, as the Lakers and Spurs continue to play each other well this season.
In the win, the Lakers did see Brandon Ingram leave the game early with an ankle injury. On a jump shot, Ingram came down on LaMarcus Aldridge’s foot, and his ankle to a nasty turn. While Ingram didn’t suffer a major injury, he will be out the next few games for the Lakers, which will be a significant loss.
In addition to losing Ingram, the Lakers had to deal with some foul trouble to key players. The refs did not do a great job in the game on Wednesday, as there were a lot of questionable calls. Hopefully, we will see a better-officiated game on Friday night, as nobody likes to see the referees decide a game.
As winners of four straight games now, the Lakers will be hoping to keep it up on the road. They will be without Ingram on Friday night, but the Lakers do have some players capable of stepping up for Ingram off the bench. As the Lakers try to take the home-and-home series, here are three players to watch on Friday night.
