4.) Lonzo Ball played a great floor game and made a difference

Let’s be clear here. Lonzo did not shoot well. He only shot 5-of-16 from the field. That doesn’t mean he did not play well.

Lonzo Ball notched his first double-double of the season scoring 13 points and dishing out 11 assists. Couple that with 4 rebounds and some solid defense, I would call that a strong floor game.

I am starting to see some serious chemistry being built between Lonzo Ball and LeBron James. If the Lakers allow this to continue to develop over the season, the NBA could be in trouble over the next couple of seasons. It’s that serious…

Some highlights?

Now this is an amazing play by Lonzo here…

Rudy Gay is going to throw an alley-oop to Dante Cunningham for a potential dunk. Watch how Ball anticipates the pass, steals it and throws a perfect pass to LeBron James for the dunk.

This is what the call a four-point play. Two points that the Spurs potentially was to score was abated and turned into easy points for the Lakers.

Check out the passing between the two…

LeBron James is at the top and drives the ball strong to the hole. Lonzo cuuts to the basket while the Spurs are watching LeBron. LeBron sees the cut and hits him with the pass…SLAM DUNK!

If the Lakers are smart and keep Lonzo Ball at the trade deadline (which I believe they will!) get used to plays like this…

Plus these two made some history…
