5. LeBron James makes P.J. Tucker make a business decision

This was a game that pointed out two things to the NBA world. The first thing that was showed in the game was James Harden’s nuclear explosion that had the Lakers totally frustrated and to be honest rattled. Since then, Harden is on a streak that is more impressive than the MVP performance last year. Harden’s current hot streak started with that 50 piece he dropped on the Lakers on national TV.

But it’s not like the Lakers laid down and played dead…

LeBron James had his moments in this game too. The Lakers kept putting Houston Rockets center, Clint Capela in switches that left him covering LeBron. It seemed like he was constantly getting picked on…

"In the first half, the Rockets were getting the same treatment with LeBron getting caught in bad matchups switching LeBron James up with Clint Capela. Boy it was working too. Time after time, it seemed like Capela got left on an island. Here, LeBron James just blew past Capela and dunked on him. The other four Lakers would just move their man to the other end of the floor to give James time to make the move. The Rockets players have no choice. Either stay with their man or get an illegal defense call."

LeBron hit Capela with the hesitation and blew by him. You’ll see P.J. Tucker rotating to the basket to contest. The he made a business (Maybe a life!) decision to slide on by and get dunked on by LeBron.

What I liked most about this play is Tucker playing it off running out-of-bounds and up the floor like he really intended to bring some smoke!

Lets discuss the second thing shown in this game…
