The Los Angeles Lakers are always a hot ticket. On a nightly basis at the Staples Center, the seats are stuffed to the brims with the whos who of celebrities and athletes. When that show goes on the road, things do not slow down.
The Lakers are one of the most popular and recognizable basketball teams in the world. The lights don’t dim when they leave Hollywood, evident by the crowds they draw when they travel.
When the Lakers visit, fans come out in droves. When you are the defending champion Golden State Warriors hosting the Lakers, things reach an incredible peak.
When the Warriors and Lakers face off on Christmas Night it will be a great matchup. The star power is incredible. You have the star-studded Warriors led by Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green. The game is the main event of the Christmas Day slate, starting at 8 pm ET, 5 pm PT. Many people will be enjoying the game from their couch with family and friends. Anyone who will be trying to go to the arena to see the game may have to take out a small loan to get into Oracle Arena.
According to TickPick, the game between the Lakers and Warriors on Christmas Day will be record-setting from a price standpoint. The average price of a ticket, according to TickPick, will be just under $900.
The average ticket price will be $885 to watch the Lakers and Warriors in person at Oracle Arena. That is more than $300 more than the next closest Christmas Day ticket.
