Los Angeles Lakers: 3 Players to watch against the Utah Jazz
By Nick Ziegler
The Los Angeles Lakers will be looking to make it three straight wins on Friday night. Here are three players to watch against the Utah Jazz.
Things have not been easy for the Los Angeles Lakers without LeBron James. After suffering a groin injury on Christmas Day, the Lakers have losing record without James, but things have been a bit better in their last two games.
In addition to being without James, the Lakers have also been without Rajon Rondo since Christmas, and Kyle Kuzma also missed two games with a back injury. Without Kuzma is when things looked really bad for the Lakers, as they lost to the New York Knicks at home, and then were blown out by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Luckily, Kuzma has returned from his back injury, and the Lakers have won two straight since. On Friday night, the Lakers will be playing a big game against a team that is talented and below them in the standings.
The Utah Jazz have not had the start to the season that they would have liked, as they have a .500 record after making into the second round of the NBA Playoffs last year. However, the Jazz are starting to play better in their last 10, as they have a 6-4 record. As the Lakers continue to play without James, they will try to keep building on the momentum from the last few games.
With this being another game against a potential playoff team, here are three players to watch for Friday night.
