10. Lance Stephenson

2018-19 per game stats: 7.4 PPG, 3.1 RPG, 2 APG, 0.60 SPG, .447 FG%, .374 3P%

VORP: 0.1, 8th on the Lakers

WS: 0.9, 8th on the Lakers

DEFRTG (last 10 games, minimum 15 minutes per game): 106.9, 9th on the Lakers

OFFRTG (last 10 games, minimum 15 minutes per game): 104.6, 4th on the Lakers

MOET: 5

I can’t understand, for the life of me, why Lance doesn’t get more run. He’s averaging 15 minutes a game over the last 10 contests, while KCP’s averaging almost double that at 27 MPG.

Lance isn’t a great defender, but he’s better than KCP and he brings so much more to the table than Kentavious.

He’s a better passer, he’s a better rebounder, he shoots better overall from the field, and he’s better at playing the air-guitar. Most importantly, he’s leading the Lakers in 3-point shooting percentage for the year. It seems like the Lakers could use a guy who plays hard and can connect from deep, but hey what do I know.

The question is: Is Luke Walton playing KCP almost twice as much as Lance to showcase him to other teams before the trade deadline? Or, does Luke really think KCP is a better player? If Luke thinks KCP is superior to Lance, I just don’t get it. I think Lance deserves to get more minutes.
