The Los Angeles Lakers will be on the road facing the Oklahoma City Thunder. Here are three players to watch.

After getting a much-needed win against the Chicago Bulls at home, the Los Angeles Lakers will be on the road for the next two games. On Thursday night, they will be playing the Oklahoma City Thunder.

So far this season, the Thunder are playing some really good basketball. The combination of Russell Westbrook and Paul George has looked a lot better this season than last season, and it has translated into wins.

For the Lakers, they are just trying to keep their heads above water without LeBron James. James will not be coming with the team on the two-game road trip, as he will be staying in Los Angeles to rehab the groin. With a 4-7 record without James, the Lakers have done better than James’ teams in Cleveland without him. However, this is the Western Conference and seven losses in a month timeframe will drop you a lot in the standings.

After losing home games to the New York Knicks and the Cavaliers, the Lakers are going to need to play a perfect game against the Thunder if they want to compete and win. While beating the Bulls isn’t much of an accomplishment, it might be a little spark for this young Lakers team.

Despite the Thunder being the three seed in the Western Conference, they have sputtered a bit losing four of their last five games. One of those games included a loss to the Atlanta Hawks, so the Lakers might be getting them at a good time.

With a big matchup on National T.V. set for Thursday night, here are three players to watch.
