Since the Lakers have recently lost to teams like the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks, it was hard to expect them to come into Oklahoma City and beat one of the top teams in the Western Conference. However, with the Thunder struggling a bit of late, the Lakers might have caught them at a good time.

To start the game, things looked ugly for the Lakers. With the new starting lineup being used again, the Thunder were able to jump the Lakers early in the first quarter. Despite being down 12 after the first quarter, the Lakers came back with a great showing in the second quarter to erase the lead.
