– James Harden

Easily the top player to watch in this game is Rockets guard, James Harden. Whether you love or hate his style and some of the calls that he gets, there is no denying what this man is doing on the basketball court right now.

Without Chris Paul in the extremely tough Western Conference, Harden has been able to keep the Rockets afloat, and is putting up some historic numbers. In his last five games, Harden is averaging 47.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 7.8 assists per game. Harden is literally doing it all for the Rockets right now, and teams still haven’t been able to stop him.

The Lakers played Harden a little over a month ago and saw first-hand what he can do. In that game, Harden totaled a triple-double with 50 points, as the Lakers had no answer for him. With his ability to do it all on the offensive end, the Lakers will have to throw multiple defenders at Harden in this game.

Forcing the supporting cast of the Rockets to make shots is currently the best way to beat them, as you don’t want Harden going for 50 on you again. The Lakers have a lot of talented defenders on their team, and expect to see them try to use them all on Harden.
