Depending on who you got to for your NBA news, you can always hear something different when it comes to trade rumors. When it comes to the Lakers and Anthony Davis, everyone is saying the game thing. It will cost the Lakers a lot if New Orleans even gives them a real chance to land Davis.

To get Davis out of New Orleans, the Lakers are going to have to trade a large portion, if not all, of their young core. That is why Ingram lands on this list.

It sounds as if Lakers management is going to do their best to pry Davis out of the Bayou. If they want to accomplish that, they will have to part ways with Ingram. In addition to Ingram, they will have to also decide on Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma and Josh Hart as well.

It would not be out of the realm of possibilities that the Pelicans ask for all four in addition to draft picks. Ingram has reportedly been involved in at least one trade proposal made by the Lakers, and it would be fair to assume that he is apart of multiple trade packages.

Ingram has shown flashes during his first three seasons in the NBA. He does not seem like a great fit alongside James, but he has shown his ability, such as his career-high 36 points against the Philadelphia 76ers.

If the Lakers are going to make a blockbuster deal, Ingram will most likely be apart of any package heading out of Los Angeles.
