LeBron James got another record…but do we really care anymore?

LeBron James passed the 32,000 point plateau last night and don’t get me wrong, this is a great accomplishment. What we are seeing now is history and should enjoy it. However, if you watched this game, you would wonder what LeBron James wants at this point because the old passive-aggressive LeBron is back and in full effect.

On Saturday, he didn’t think enough of his teammates to sit the bench and support his teammates.

In this game, he probably wanted to just sit the bench because he sure played like it…

LeBron James scored 18 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 9 assists. Watching the highlights on TV you will probably hear…

LeBron James finished just shy of a triple-double with a couple of nice highlights…

A nice long three-point shot here…

You would swear that LeBron James had a good game with little help from his teammates…

You would be wrong! Dead wrong.

LeBron James sent a message in this game. The Los Angeles Lakers had better make some moves and change this roster ASAP! Whatever plan that was in effect over the offseason should be scrapped, because if the Lakers do not sign Anthony Davis or make moves that will make an immediate splash, Lakers fans will have about 2 and a half more years of games like this.

LeBron James has been lauded for years about being  a leader. Umm okay everyone has their opinion. Here’s mine…

Leaders step up in times of crisis. LeBron James is not made of that cloth. Sorry. He showed it Saturday night, backing out of the lineup at the last-minute and followed up that behavior with this…

This here is why the debates about LeBron James’ value to the Lakers is so spirited. This right here is unacceptable. After 16 years in the NBA, he should know that Kuzma, Ingram and the other guys on the roster need him to be a locker room presence.

He won’t take on that responsibility. Why do you think he wants veterans on the team? Statistics don’t make you a leader. Your actions are now affecting your teammates.

But congratulations on the achievement though!
