The NBA is going to have to step in and do something with this AD situation

When it was announced that Anthony Davis was sitting out for rest, for some reason I got irritated. You see I’m a basketball fan that covers the Lakers. I’m not a Lakers fan. I enjoy watching great basketball and writing about it for the fans. The fact that Davis was held out for rest is ridiculous.

He only played 20 minutes in the previous game against Indiana and did not play the 4th quarter. Both Davis and the Pelicans are to blame for this. There needs to be an end game for this soon because it is hurting the NBA and it’s fans.

If you think it’s cheap to go to NBA games, I have news for you, it’s not.

There are kids that look forward to seeing the best players in the NBA compete against each other. The Lakers come to New Orleans a few times a year. Some families plan their budgets months in advance knowing that the Lakers with a LeBron James is coming to town.

Now this?

This is the second game that the New Orleans Pelicans roster put things together to beat a better team (Oklahoma City being the other…) without him on the floor. If the man doesn’t want to be there, then send him off and pay the fine.

Or, Let Davis play and stop this minutes restrictions and resting back to back game stuff. It’s not fun to watch and to be totally honest, not only does the Pelicans look bad, the Lakers are affected because the franchise is tied to this mess with the negotiations.

The Los Angeles Lakers are now past the halfway point in their long journey through the NBA season. Lake Show Life will be there every step of the way. Continue to check in for Lakers news, previews and reviews.
