Here are a few takeaways from another brutal loss for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Los Angeles Lakers have started March Madness early. Don’t check your calendar, I realize the NCAA tournament starts March 19th. That one is filled with excitement, joy and competition with the understanding that any team has the chance to win at any time.

The Los Angeles Lakers are so bad that they would need a thesaurus to understand anything that was written in the last paragraph. Their understanding of March Madness is the complete opposite and the Lakers fans deserve better.

A whole lot better.

Lake Show Life worked hard at these post game reports to show fans the Lakers process throughout the season and point out issues that could possibly hurt them down the line. We watched the bad habits, the coasting and bad defense. Well we are down the line and the narrative is clear even though many other media outlets do not want to admit it.

The Los Angeles Lakers are in a worse position with LeBron James on this team than without. It’s sad to admit and for the record I hope I am wrong but the Los Angeles Lakers are done…finished…kaput, it is time to start scouting for the draft.

The Lakers are a collective group led by an aging star that is exposed himself to be a selfish player that only cares about his legacy and records.

A front office that is in a passive-aggressive civil war with the owner over who needs to coach the team and have basically done everything short of announcing “We do not want this guy anymore.” Then falls for the LeBron James. “I’m not happy with this roster” okey-doke routine and tries to overhaul, the roster, blowing up the justification of every criticized signing in the offseason.

In doing so, the locker room is totally divided and the trust is gone to the point that you can play any country song that mentions the word betrayal and it will apply.

Maybe LaVar Ball is right. Notice he disappeared after his rants blasting the Lakers.

The Los Angeles Lakers lost to the worst team in the NBA, being the Phoenix Suns 118-109. To put this in perspective, the Lakers have now lost to the New York Knicks, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Atlanta Hawks, the Pelicans without Anthony Davis and now the Suns.

I could go on…but why?

If the Lakers beat these lowly teams who are trying to tank (I mean seriously…aka lose) to get Zion Williamson, the team would be in the sixth spot in the Western Conference standings.

Now as it stands, the Lakers are 4.5 games out of the 8th spot and have lost 7 out of 10 games to a team in the Phoenix Suns who dropped 18 of 19 coming into the game.

I would like to give special shout out to my man Andrew Stevens III of Lake Show Life, who wrote a piece two weeks ago before the All-Star break last year that it would take a miracle for the Lakers to make the playoffs.

After another bad loss, here are some takeaways for the Lakers.
