– Drama seems to follow

For a coach that only had one season under his belt with the Brooklyn Nets, Kidd tried to get some more power within the organization. This led to a power struggle, and his coaching rights were traded to the Milwaukee Bucks. Seeing Kidd trying to get more power within the organization after just one year with a record of 44-38 was shocking.

With the Bucks, Kidd never found much success with them, as he had a losing record. Last season, Kidd was fired by the Bucks after a 23-22 start to the season. The Bucks went on to make the playoffs last season, but lost in the first round of the playoffs. However, the Bucks had a better record last season without Kidd, and this season they have emerged as a title contender in the Eastern Conference. In their first full season without Kidd, the Bucks certainly aren’t missing him.

Drama has certainly followed around Kidd as a head coach in the league and that is something that the Lakers don’t need. This season, the Lakers had plenty of drama of their own. Adding Kidd into the mix seems like it could be a recipe for disaster with his history as the coach of the Nets and Bucks.
