The Los Angeles Lakers got lucky when they landed the No. 4 overall pick. Trading the pick has been a popular debate among people. Here are three trade scenarios involving the No. 4 pick.

The Los Angeles Lakers have been handed a very valuable gift after a month which has shaken many a Laker fans believe in the direction in which the organization is going.

After Magic Johnson stepped down as president of basketball operations and went on First Take with Stephen A. Smith, where he made things even worse. Allegations from Magic Johnson were made, claiming that general manager Rob Pelinka is untrustworthy and was the source of the backstabbing.

After the Lakers missed out on their top two choices in the coaching search and signed a coach in Frank Vogel, who is a good coach, but who was meant to be the lead assistant for Tyronn Lue. This came after Jeanie Buss outright refused to deviate from a family first way of doing business.

The Lakers now have been offered a lifeline which may have potentially saved a lot of people’s jobs in the Lakers’ front office.

With the 4th overall pick, the Lakers have a chance to change their fortunes. They have a chance to draft a really good player or turn that pick into an asset.

Whether they use the 4th overall pick in a trade to land Anthony Davis or whether they stick with the young core and add another important piece, one thing is for certain, the Lakers are better off today they were before the draft lottery.

If the Lakers decide to trade the pick, here are three scenarios where they could trade the pick for All-Star caliber players capable of helping them win.
