Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is set to star in Space Jam, and these five players should join him in the movie.

While the Los Angeles Lakers are going through a lot of drama and theatrics regarding Magic Johnson, Rob Pelinka and Jeanie Buss, LeBron James is preparing for a role he has spent his whole life working towards. Space Jam 2 will be the culmination of LeBron James career.

LeBron the thespian is a method actor. He has spent every year since birth working on this role to perfect it in what is undoubtedly going to be an Oscar-winning performance.

However, an actor is only as good as the cast he surrounds himself with. With Leonardo DiCaprio, Denzel Washington and the guy who played the werewolf in Twilight currently being unavailable, LeBron probably should try and get some guys who can play basketball a little bit.

Here is my starting five that should join LeBron.

At center, from Yaoundé, Cameroon, Standing at 7 feet tall,” The Process” Joel Embiid!

If I could pick just one player from the NBA to join LeBron and be in Space Jam 2, without a shadow of a doubt I would choose Joel Embiid. The modern-day Charles Barkley (minus the round mound).

Embiid is outspoken, a trash talker, is unapologetically himself, they are both extremely witty and funny and they both played in Philly. Embiid wants to be a star and this could catapult him to another level. I think Jojo being a natural showman would lend really well to the movie and add a real comedic element to it.

With Embiid you get emphatic dunks, a lot of trash talk and a lot of fun. Plus, having Embiid in the movie would really show how far the NBA has come in terms of foreign-born players.

You could easily have a starting 5 of International players such as Ben Simmons, Luka Doncic, Nikola Jokic, Kristaps Porzingis and Giannis Antetokounmpo. That shows the strength of players coming overseas and Embiid would be a great representative for the International players.
