There have been plenty of Los Angeles Lakers rumors recently involving the 2019 NBA Draft. We breakdown another player coming to workout in the imposing Tacko Fall.

Lakers rumors are in full effect for the next three weeks. With the options of having the No. 4 pick in the NBA Draft, there are reports of who the Lakers will take at that spot.

Now reports are starting to surface about the Lakers possibly trading down in the draft to open up options financially for free agents or collecting draft picks to throw at the Pelicans for Anthony Davis.

But while all of this is going on, the Lakers are bringing in players for workouts for the next three weeks. One of those players is reportedly Tacko Fall out of University of Central Florida.

Fall averaged 11 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.6 blocks for UCF last year. Fall really got noticed when Duke University, featuring lottery picks Zion Williamson, R.J. Barrett and Cam Reddish, came an eyelash from one of the biggest upsets in NCAA basketball tournament history.

In Round 2 of the tournament, Tacko Fall’s foul troubles changed the game when Zion Williamson made his move the basket to score and draw a foul on him when Duke was down three points.

That foul disqualified Fall from the game. His missed presence probably cost UCF the game. When Zion missed the free throw, Fall’s services could have been used again when R.J. Barrett grabbed it and scored to put Duke ahead.

That set up one of the defining moments of the tournament period. The Texas Tech vs Virginia title game went into overtime, featuring two lottery picks in Jarrett Culver and De’Andre Hunter, was exciting at times, but that game was not even close to the excitement this game spread not only to the fans of these two schools but anyone that enjoys the game of basketball.

This game put Tacko Fall’s name on the map. The NBA Draft Combine made NBA teams erase his name and put it back in ink. He was not invited to the original combine but to the “next 40” combine afterward.

The narrative changed from him being just a tall player that would get exposed in high pick and roll situations to a player that could be used in certain playoff scenarios.

Tacko Fall definitely turned heads and talked about what he tried to accomplish at the combine a few weeks ago.

"“With my size, the biggest thing they’re always looking for is can he move, run the floor, step out and guard?” Fall said during Thursday’s media press conference. “I feel I have the ability to do those things. I had the ability to play with great competition (in Chicago) and it was a blessing. Thank God I’m in this position and I have to take advantage of it. I think I’m doing good and holding my own and not doing anything out of character.”"

Well, the man definitely took advantage of his opportunity. He parlayed a G League elite tryout that also included Darel Poirier who was brought in last Friday by the Lakers for a tryout, into an opportunity at the combine.

Slowly, Tacko Fall is inching his way into a late draft selection in the second round or a G League opportunity. Being from Senegal, he is trying to join Gorgui Dieng of the Minnesota Timberwolves as his country’s representative.

If Fall does make it to an NBA roster, look for NBA teams to look at the Boban Marjanovic blueprint by using Fall as a rim protector and clogging the paint. If Tacko Fall makes it to the NBA, he will be only the ninth player in history to stand taller than 7’5″.

With a size 22 shoe, the Lakers might need Shaquille O’Neal to give a Tacko few sneakers for the workout.

Let’s break down the total game of Tacko Fall.
