This guy is a freak of nature! Not Zion’s level, but this dude is different

You will hear so many Lakers rumors on this site about any and every player the Lakers bring in. Let’s take a look at the things about Tacko Fall that definitely will NOT be on this list.

Take a close look Lakers fans because you may never see this again. I know that Bol Bol is tall but this dude has some major measurements.

In other words, Tacko Fall is extremely tall and athletic. For all of the shortcomings of his foot speed and pick and roll defense, there is a phrase that true ballers understand; you can’t coach 7 feet!

Tacko Fall’s measurements may land him on an NBA team based on that fact alone. Good teams that need situational players (Golden State applies here) tend to pick up players like Tacko and develop them while the more established stars on the roster allow them the time to get better without the daily pressure to get better to help the team immediately.

In the age of analytics, certain things tend to fall by the wayside when judging basketball players. One of them is character, which is very important in a potential NBA locker room being a good teammate.

To all the people who think that is a bunch of baloney to point out, let’s just take a look back at the second half of the season. The Anthony Davis trade saga destroyed two locker rooms in New Orleans and Los Angeles. The dysfunction was put on display for the NBA world to see.

Tacko Fall has impressed teams with his humility, maturity and back story. He’s not Hakeem Olajuwon in any stretch, but you can bet he can understand leaving his country and family to make a living in another country.

Think about trying to learn a game that you started at the age of 16 all while moving around from place to place learning the language and culture at the same time.

It really is amazing if you stop and think about it. His journey through the draft process and how Tacko has dealt with it has really been a peek into the challenges he’s faced since he came to America.

But really, Tacko Fall is being looked at for this reason and this reason only.

Good luck to any NBA player trying to shoot over a guy that is that tall and can jump that high. Remember folks, these are combine records dating back the 1980’s.
