4. Kyle Kuzma

Kyle Kuzma has been the most consistent of the Lakers young assets over his first two seasons. Unlike the other injury enduring young assets, Kuzma has only missed 15 games.

He jumped from 16 points per game to slightly under 19 during his second NBA season. Kuzma may be the best young Laker player today, but, his potential isn’t quite the same as Ingram’s and probably not Ball’s either.

Kuzma turns 24 years old this month, which makes him the same age as Giannis Antetokounmpo. KK’s ceiling isn’t much further than his floor, and his career outlook might be best compared to a player like Antawn Jamison’s, a crafty and proven scorer, but not much else.

Kuzma’s an attractive asset, but I do have his value lower than many people may have expected it to be.
