As I mentioned at the beginning of this segment, each of the Laker’s assets trail or leader the others in value by a slim margin.

The Lakers fourth overall pick in this years draft may turn out to be a superstar or someone who’s out of the league in five years. The unpredictability of draft picks makes it difficult to evaluate their value, but where the pick stands today is how it’s being evaluated here.

De’Andre Hunter, Jarrett Culver and Darius Garland have been the three guys most talked about in being selected fourth overall by the Lakers. Each of these guys holds unique value in their own ways.

The fourth pick is reported to be a significant drop-off from the third, which if it wasn’t I’d maybe consider it to be the most valuable Lakers asset. The value of the fourth pick is barely behind that of Lonzo Ball, and likewise in being ahead of Kyle Kuzma.
