There have been plenty of trade rumors involving the Los Angeles Lakers. In this piece, we examine a trade that could end the Anthony Davis saga.

The Los Angeles Lakers have been handed some very important information regarding All-NBA power forward, Anthony Davis.

With David Griffin, the New Orleans Pelicans Vice President of Basketball Operations finally coming out and saying what it will take to land Anthony Davis.

With Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN quoted as saying:

"“Griffin is pursuing a combination of assets that include an All-Star player, a young player with All-Star potential and two first-round picks, league sources said. Those wants are on a sliding scale. For example, the better the player, the softer the requests on the draft picks — and vice versa.”"

Apart from LeBron James, the Lakers do not currently have an All-Star caliber player to offer the Pelicans. While this may be a sticking point, it is not an impossible roadblock to overcome.

The Lakers are blessed enough to have some pieces available that might help them land an All-Star caliber player. The trick is to get this player while also keeping enough assets to keep New Orleans happy.

It is a safe bet that Lakers General Manager Rob Pelinka is touching base with teams around the league gauging their interest in trading one of their stars. While not many teams are going to go out of their way to help the Lakers a few teams might help out if a player they covet becomes available.

With the Lakers being one of the two teams Anthony Davis is focusing on according to Shams Charnia of The Athletic.

“Davis has shifted his focus to the Lakers and Knicks as his two preferred long-term desired destinations.”

This is the Lakers chance to strike. The one team who I truly believe could be instrumental in helping the Los Angeles Lakers land Anthony Davis is the Chicago Bulls.

Here is a trade that I believe could help the Lakers get superstar Anthony Davis:

The Los Angeles Lakers receive: Anthony Davis

The Chicago Bulls receive Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart, Moritz Wagner, Isaac Bonga and a future unprotected 1st round draft pick.

The  New Orleans Pelicans receive: Zach LaVine, Brandon Ingram and the 4th overall pick
