Let’s look at which guards and centers are the best available for the Los Angeles Lakers to sign.

Many of the best All-Stars and role players have already been scooped up and the free agent market has thinned out fast for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Unfortunately, the Lakers haven’t been able to join the party because Kawhi Leonard, the best player on the market and the person that LA covets most, didn’t even take meetings during the opening day of free agency.

Making matters worse, according to the most recent reports, he’s still far away from choosing whether he wants to return to the Raptors or switch teams and join the Lakers or Clippers.

Kawhi’s “diligence” in making a decision has left the Lakers in a holding pattern, thus the Purple and Gold have only signed one free agent (Troy Daniels). Awkwardly, the Lakers only have four players on the roster, so whether or not Leonard joins the Purple and Gold, Rob Pelinka’s going to have a lot of work to do in the upcoming days.

The Lakers need size, shooting, and passing, so let’s see which guards and centers are still unsigned and then on the last slide decide which among those players make the most sense for the Lakers.
