Los Angeles Lakers: LeBron James, Anthony Davis are top duo in NBA 2K20

NBA 2K20 recently released their player ratings for the Top 20 players. For the Los Angeles Lakers, they have the top dynamic duo.

The NBA 2K franchise is one of the top sports games year after year. For fans of the Los Angeles Lakers, they will have one of the best teams to use in the game after a strong offseason.

While playing with LeBron James in 2K is always fun, Lakers fans will now have both James and Anthony Davis to utilize in the Purple and Gold.

The decision to trade for Davis was certainly a big one for the Lakers franchise. They had to give up quite a bit in order to get the deal done, but getting a superstar in his prime is well worth it.

Since Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka took over in the front office, the goal for the Lakers was to get two superstars. While they didn’t get them at the same time, Pelinka did get the job done this summer.

The pairing of James and Davis along with some other stars pairing up elsewhere has resulted in a fun debate about who has the best duo in the NBA. Well, according to the 2K ratings, the Lakers have the top dynamic duo in the NBA with a rating of 95.5.

After the Davis and LeBron duo, the Clippers came in at a close second with their duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George being a 95 rating. Since Davis was a point higher than George on the ratings, the Lakers got a slight edge.

The new duo of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving came in third with a 93.5 rating, and James Harden and Russell Westbrook were right behind them at 93.

If the 2K ratings are any indication the Lakers were able to create the best duo in the NBA this summer. This was certainly something that was a goal of theirs, and now they will be hoping that Davis and LeBron can lead them to a championship.
