Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James received a great honor, as he is the highest-rated player in NBA 2K20.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar forward LeBron James was in the news recently because of his proposed jersey number swap. James planned to gift the No. 23 to his new teammate, Anthony Davis, after he was acquired from the New Orleans Pelicans via trade. However, Nike was not having it.

James is as popular a player in the NBA as anyone. As a result, Nike has a lot of James paraphernalia in stock. Not wanting to lose out on those profits, they did not allow the number change to go through.

As a result, fans will have to wait until next season to see James wear a No. 6 purple and gold jersey. No matter what number James is wearing, fans are going to enjoy using him in NBA 2K20 this year.

NBA 2K has become one of the most popular video games available every year. The graphics and in-depth game modes make it popular for all basketball fans, ranging from the most casual to the most hardcore. Anyone using James this year will be playing with the best player in the game.

NBA 2K released some of their ratings on Monday, and James received a 97 overall grade. He is tied with Los Angeles Clippers forward, Kawhi Leonard, for the highest overall, but 2K themselves said that James edges him out slightly for best player in the game.

The budding rivalry between the Lakers and Clippers will now be taken to the virtual courts, as fans of each team will be arguing over who really is the best player in the city. As for James, this is actually a slight drop for him.
