The Los Angeles Lakers, and NBA as a whole went crazy this offseason.
- Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving teamed up in Brooklyn.
- Kawhi Leonard and Paul George joined forces on LA’s other team.
- Russell Westbrook was traded to Houston for Chris Paul.
- D’Angelo Russell is now a Warrior.
- Jimmy Butler’s relaxing on a beach in Miami.
- Jamal Murray somehow got a max-extension even though he’ll never sniff an All-Star game in the Western Conference.
Rob Pelinka and the Lakers also had an eventful offseason.
First the Purple and Gold replaced head coach Luke Walton with Frank Vogel and then added Jason Kidd as an assistant head coach.
Next, LA traded Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and Josh Hart to the New Orleans Pelicans for Anthony Davis, a top-five player in the league.
LA also added one of the best shooting guards in the NBA in Danny Green.
The Lakers retained JaVale McGee and picked up the very talented DeMarcus Cousins.
