Los Angeles Lakers: 3 Goals for LeBron James in 2019-20 season
By Nick Ziegler
As we head toward the 2019-20 season, here are three goals for LeBron James in his second season with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Los Angeles Lakers made a huge splash last summer when they signed LeBron James as a free agent.
After winning a championship for Cleveland a few years ago, James left his hometown team to embark on possibly the last chapter of his career with the Lakers.
Things started out well for James and the Lakers last season. They were a top half of the league team in the Western Conference, and things were going well. However, James suffered a groin injury on Christmas Day, which forced him to miss a lot of time.
Without their superstar, the Lakers did not have the firepower to keep up in a very challenging West. When James came back, the Lakers suffered some more injuries and the season never amounted to what it could have been.
As James heads into his second season with the Lakers, expectations are even higher than last season. While making the playoffs and maybe winning a series would have been good last season, the Lakers are in title contender mode now with the addition of Anthony Davis.
After a disappointing first season in Los Angeles for James, he will surely be motivated to bounce back this coming season. With a strong roster around him, James might be seeking his fourth ring.
With the 2019-20 season on the way, here are three goals for James in his second season with the Lakers.
